Blued "SPECIAL-GEWEHRLAUFSTAHL" marked barrels with single white bead sight on the concave matte rib, chambers marked and measured at 2 3/4 inches with automatic ejectors, standard East German proofs on the flats, "1284" proof date, improved modified/full chokes, and "WOODCOCK HILL BENTON, PA" marking on the underside of the rib. Coin finished receiver and lock plates with side clips, cross bolt third fastener, dual triggers, and tang mounted manual safety. The receiver and locks have fine scroll engraving with fine line shading. Attractively figured, checkered walnut straight grip stock and forearm with engraved fittings, and checkered bare butt. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .621/.621; choke constriction .026/.035; minimum wall thickness .029/.030; drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 1/2 inches; length of pull 14 1/4 inches.

Excellent with 97% original blue finish, some light edge and muzzle wear, and small traces of very light spotting. The receiver and locks have a thin coating of protective varnish that is beginning to yellow. The wood is also excellent with attractive figure, sharp checkering, and some small dings. Mechanically excellent.
