Coin gray finished receiver and side locks with bushed firing pins, side clips, standard proofs, lined cocking indicators, dual triggers, automatic sliding tang safety, and fine scroll engraving surrounding game scenes on the locks of an eagle hunting ducks on the right, and a dog flushing pheasants on the left. Attractively figured, checkered walnut straight grip stock and forearm with engraved fittings, and serrated Merkel buttplate. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .540/.540; minimum wall thickness .032/.031; choke constriction .008/.017; drop at comb 1 7/16 inches; drop at heel 2 7/16 inches; length of pull 14 1/2 inches.

Very good with 98% original blue finish on the barrels, some small handling marks, and pin point spotting. The receiver and locks have 75% original coin gray finish with areas of brown/red discoloration, visible oxidation, and some surface pitting. The wood is excellent with attractive dark figure, sharp checkering, and some small scattered dings. Mechanically excellent.
