Blue finished flat side receiver with jewelled breech face and full coverage fine scroll engraving surrounding gold inlaid dog and bird scenes of a pointer on the right, setter on the left, a pair of pheasants on the underside, and the bust of a retriever on the trigger guard. The fences are relief carved in an oak leaf and acorn motif. With gold washed single trigger with selector, gold inlaid "L/R" markings, and automatic sliding tang safety with silver inlaid "SAFE". Extra fancy, scroll bordered checkered walnut straight grip stock and beavertail forearm with ebony tip insert, matching engraved fittings, roller latch, blank gold initial oval, and checkered bare butt. Stock measurements are drop at comb 1 3/8 inches; drop at heel 2 1/8 inches; length of pull 14 1/4 inches.

Excellent with 99% original deep blue finish, scattered light handling marks, sharp, and detailed engraving. The wood is also excellent with attractive figure, crisp checkering, and just a few small dings. Mechanically excellent.
