Manufactured from 1922 to 1944. The action, breech end of the barrel, breech end sides of the rib, trigger guard, break lever and forearm hardware are engraved with a floral scroll design with a matte background. The rear sides of the action and breech end sides of the barrel are also decorated with hunting dog and game bird scenes, a marsh scene and ducks on the left side and a wooded scene with grouse and a rabbit on the right side. The hunting dogs, rabbit and game birds are yellow, white and rose gold inlaid. A gold inlaid hunting dog with a bird in its mouth and two game birds adorn the underside of the action. The upper tang under the break lever is engraved "ENGR. BY/W.J. KOLOUGH". "LJH" is monogrammed on the trigger guard. It has red bead front and white bead mid sights on the matte vent rib, 2 3/4 inch chamber, and an ejector, and the choke gauges at improved modified. It has a blue finish and a casehardened trigger, break lever and grip cap and is mounted with a nicely figured walnut forearm and pistol grip stock with an engraved metal grip cap and adjustable Morgan rubber recoil pad. The forearm and stock wrist are carved with a fish scale design flanked by floral scroll designs. The stock flats also have a floral scroll design. Drop at the comb is 1 1/2 inches. Drop at the heel is 2 7/8 inches. There is no cast, and 3/4 inch toe in. The shotgun weighs 8 pounds, 7 ounces. Length of pull is 14 5/8 inches.

Very good as professionally refinished and embellished with 99% blue finish remaining. A small amount of rose gold on the underside of the action has thinned; otherwise, almost all of the gold inlay remains. The stock shows only light handling/storage marks. The engraving is crisp. Mechanically excellent.
