Manufactured in 1969. Blue, mono-block vent rib barrel with dual white bead sights, chamber marked and measured at 2 3/4 inches, automatic ejector, standard markings on the jewelled flats, and improved modified choke. Casehardened receiver with grade 4 engraving of broad, leafy scroll, standard maker's marks, and shooting scenes of a Native American shooting a bow on the right and a man with a shotgun on the left, signed "ALPEN" next to the shooter for Ithaca factory engraver Ralph Alpen. Checkered walnut pistol grip stock and beavertail forearm with carved fleur-de-lis borders, blank initial oval, and solid rubber Kick-Eez recoil pad. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech .736 inch; choke constriction .025; minimum wall thickness .047 inch; drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 1 7/8 inches; length of pull 14 1/2 inches; weight 8 lbs 12 oz.

Very fine. 95% original blue finish remains on the barrels with some small , scattered surface scratches and light muzzle wear. The receiver has 70% of the original case colors which are visible under a protective coat of varnish and well-defined engraving. The trigger guard tang has been refinished. The wood is very good with some crazing of the varnish visible on the buttstock, crisp checkering, and some small dings. Mechanically excellent.
