Manufactured in 1956. Heavyweight barrel manufactured without sights with factory drilled and tapped holes at the muzzle and forward of the breech for sight mounting, standard receiver markings, Winchester "WP" proofs on the barrel and receiver, and factory drilled and tapped holes for scope mounting with scope bases installed on the bridge and mid barrel. Heavy target style pistol grip stock with forward mounted hand stop, sling swivels, and flat checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine with 9% plus original matte blue finish, patch of touched up pitting on right side of barrel, and minor edge wear, and handling marks overall. The stock is also very fine with justa a few small dings. Mechanically excellent.
