Description:

Manufactured in 1942. Standard blade front and flat top notch rear sights, two-line address on the left side of the slide with the Rampant Colt behind the serrations, small "crossed cannon" stamp on the left side of the frame, "U.S. PROPERTY" marking on the right, standard caliber marking on the right side of the slide, and checkered medallion grips. Includes craft style brown box numbered to match the pistol with a partially legible "Gen. S?" marking on the bottom.

Rating Definition:

Excellent plus, in box with 99% original blue finish, small nick on top of the slide, and light handling marks. Grips are also excellent plus with crisp checkering. Mechanically excellent. Box is fine with some corner and edge wear, and faded name.
