Description:

This is an exceptional, outstanding example of an original World War II Inland manufactured M1 Carbine. With "N" marked blade front and two-leaf flip up rear peep sights, Inland barrel dated "12-43", narrow Type 1 unmarked barrel band, two rivet handguard, low wood flat bottom stock, blued flat bolt, milled trigger guard with unmarked smooth push button safety and magazine catches, standard markings on the receiver, "IO" stamp in the sling cut out on the left side of the stock, crisp "crossed cannons" Ordnance Dept. stamp on the right, and a stamped, checkered steel buttplate. With khaki canvas web sling. Magazine absent.

Rating Definition:

Excellent with 98% plus original dark, factory wartime parkerized/blue finish, some very small nicks, and light cycling marks on the receiver. The stock is also excellent with crisp stamps, and some small scattered dings. Mechanically excellent.
