Manufactured at the Fabrique Nationale factory in Herstal prior to the Nazis taking over the FN factory plant. The left side of the slide has the FN/Herstal/Browning markings with various Belgian proof marks below the markings. The frame, slide, and chamber area have matching serial numbers, with the additional FN factory firing proofs on the chamber area of the barrel. With standard fixed blade front and tangent rear sights graduated from 50 to 500 meters. The back strap is cut for a shoulder stock and the pistol is fitted with checkered walnut grips. With later production magazine marked "BELGIUM 9MM NATO/LUGER". Includes a flat board stock with a single small "rectangular boxed c" proof on the attaching iron.

Very fine with 90% original blue finish, areas of minor edge wear, small surface scratches, and some light spotting on the grip straps. Grips are fine with dings and bruises, and some lightly smoothed checkering. Mechanically excellent. Stock is very fine with 95% plus blue finish on the metal parts, and some small dings on the wood.
