Fine adjustable blade front and tangent rear sights, "1916" date on the chamber and "DWM" monogram on the toggle link. Three "crown/letter" proofs are present on the right side of the barrel extension with "Imperial Eagle" firing proofs on the extension, barrel and breechblock. Excluding the unnumbered toggle pin, numbers match overall, including the grips and magazine, and the proper "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" markings are present on the upper safety position and extractor respectively. Straw finished small parts, nickel magazine with "+" marked wood base numbered to gun and checkered grips.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, with 85% plus of the original blue finish, showing areas of gray and brown patina, mild spotting, scattered handling marks, and some small patches of pitting around the muzzle. 70% of the original straw color are present on the small parts, and the otherwise excellent grips show some light dents on the otherwise crisp checkering. The sear disconnector is sluggish, otherwise mechanically fine.
