These pistols were only manufactured c. 1947-1953 and only 200-205 were ever made. It features a pinned blade front sight, adjustable target rear sight, "A.H. TOMPKINS/SPRINGFIELD/MASS., U.S.A." on top at the breech, "PATENT APPLD. FOR/MFG. NO. 53." on the left, "MF'D. AT/VARSITY MFG. CO." on the right, deluxe checkered stock, and very light trigger pull. A photocopy of a page from the instructions is included.

Excellent, retaining 97% original blue finish showing some minor high edge wear. The back of the trigger guard has a rub mark. The stock is also excellent with some scattered minor handling marks and crisp checkering overall. Mechanically excellent.
