This set was manufactured in 1990 and one of the first of their respective models to be produced by Colt's Manufacturing Company after the company changed over from Colt Industries, Firearms Division. The included letter from Colt explains that this set is the ninth produced of each model. The letter also states that only a total of 50 of the "First" edition collections of guns were made. The gun itself has standard markings and features other than the all blue finish. Each gun includes its original box and hanging tag. This is a wonderful set marking the beginning of a new era in Colt's history.

Excellent overall, retaining 99% original blue with limited handling evidence and a couple small dings on the muzzle. Mechanically excellent. The box is very good with mild wear.
