Blue steel barrels with ramped beaded blade front and fixed notch rear sights on a raised quarter rib, factory drilled and tapped holes in the rib for scope mounting with filler screws, standard French proofs on the flats, and "WOODCOCK HILL BENTON PA" marking on the underside of the rib. Coin finished box lock action with bushed firing pins, single non-selective trigger, and sliding tang safety. The receiver is engraved with leafy scroll on the sides and a roe deer scene on the bottom signed "IVAN". Attractively figured, checkered walnut pistol grip stock and forearm with engraved fittings, and marked "Chapais Arms/PROGRESS" on the forend shoe, raised cheekpiece, and checkered walnut buttplate. With factory takedown case and proof certificate. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 inch; drop at heel 2 inches; length of pull 15 inches.

Excellent overall with 99% original blue finish on the barrels, some light forearm wear on the underside, and a few light handling marks on the action. The wood is also excellent with sharp checkering, and some small dings and scratches. Mechanically excellent. Case is excellent with some storage wear.
