Blue steel dovetail lump barrels with chambers proofed and measured at 2 3/4 inches, automatic ejectors, single brass bead sight on the concave rib marked "REGENCY" in silver inlay, barrels marked "COGSWELL & HARRISON Ltd./168 PICADILLY, LONDON W1", improved modified/full chokes, a mix of Birmingham and London proofs (including nitro proofs and "crown/R" reproof marks) most recently dated 1995 on the flats, and "WOODCOCK HILL BENTON, PA" marking on the underside of the rib between the forearm latch and barrel lugs. Bright coin finished scalloped box lock receiver with dual gold washed triggers, automatic sliding tang safety, and rolled trigger guard. The receiver, trigger guard, and tangs feature full coverage leafy acanthus scroll engraving with Cogswell & Harrison banners on the sides. Checkered walnut straight grip stock and forearm with engraved fittings, Anson latch, initial oval inscribed "HS", and checkered bare butt. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech reproofed at 18.6mm (.732) and measuring at .731/.731; choke constriction .026/.040; minimum wall thickness .027/.025; drop at comb 1 5/16 inches; drop at heel 1 13/16 inches; length of pull 14 1/2 inches.

Very fine as professionally restored with 95% high quality blue finish on the barrels, some light muzzle and forearm wear, and light address markings. The action is bright overall with well defined engraving, visibly worn gold wash on the triggers, and some small dings. The wood is fine with attractive grain, sharp freshened checkering, and small dings throughout. Mechanically excellent.
