Manufactured by the N-S Corporation and distributed by the National Lead Company of California, this stock is designed for use with Colt's Woodsman line of pistols. The butt of the pistol is slotted into a black-finished steel cup. A thin steel insert running the length of the unit provides rigidity. Marked "PAT.OCT.20.1925/N-S/VENTURA, CAL" on the front. Includes correct factory box.

Excellent, showing minor handling evidence to the leather and light scratching on the attaching hardware. The box is good with some moderate wear and some loss of the end label. NOTE: Per ATF guidelines, this stock is exempt from the National Firearms Act when combined with a Woodsman manufactured between 1915 and 1943.
