Marked "GOVERNMENT MODEL" ahead of the serial number on the right side of the frame, with the "VP" Verified Proof and "R" inspection mark on the left side of the trigger guard. Fitted with a round top rear sight, wide knurled hammer, long trigger, short grip safety, and smooth flat mainspring housing. The refinished replacement full blue barrel is marked "5" ahead of the lug. Checkered grips with diamond panels around the screws. Magazine is an unmarked two tone pinned base model with a lanyard loop.

Fine, with 60% of the blue finish, showing some scattered areas of cold blue touch-up overall, bright edge wear, areas of gray and brown patina, light scratches and takedown lines, and minor spotting. Half of the refinished bright niter blue finish is present on the small parts. The grips are also fine, with mild dings and stains. Mechanically excellent.
