New, semi-automatic copy of the famous WW II MG 42. Produced from a combination of original parts and a modern production semi-automatic only receiver and trigger group. Flip up blade front and tangent rear sight mounted on the barrel shroud, with the flared recoil booster and a spring loaded folding bipod attached to the underside. The left side of the receiver is marked "Sa/ M.G. 42/ SERIAL - 0056/ BRP/ CLNTN-MD/ CAL - 7.92/ SEMIAUTO". Many of the upper receiver components are marked with Waffenamt proofs and "cof" marking. Ribbed plastic grip panels, with a ribbed, wire reinforced wood butt. With "HK" marked MG53 fully adjustable post-war tripod with traversing and elevation mechanism and extra post-war 8mm Mauser barrel.

Very good with 85% original blue finish, some scattered edge wear, areas of scratches and dings, and handling marks overall. The buttstock is good with some cracking around the wire reinforcement, and some heavy dings on the butt. Mechanically very good.
