Description:

This is a rare post-World War I commercial pistol manufactured circa 1921-1923, with the desirable long barrel. These Bolo pistols with longer barrels welded to the existing extensions are primarily found in the 445,000-448,000 and 474,000-476,000 serial number ranges. Front blade sight with rear adjustable sight marked 50 to 1000 meters. Three-line Mauser marking on the top of the chamber and "crown/crown/U" proof on the left, left side of the frame marked "Germany", and right side of the frame marked "WAFFENFABRIK MAUSER/OBERNDORF A. NECKAR". Visible numbers are matching, small ring hammer with the rear of hammer marked "NS" for new safety, and short extractor. The Bolo grips are walnut with 22 grooves. Includes the correct stock with attaching iron numbered "804" to match the gun.

Rating Definition:

Very fine, retains 90% original blue finish with the balance a smooth grey patina concentrated mainly on edges and the barrel that is showing some thinning areas. The grips are also very fine with some light dings and scratches scattered throughout. Mechanically excellent. The stock is very fine with 80% original nitre blue on hinge, a few hairline cracks and some minor dings and scratches scattered throughout.
