Hooded blade front sight and tangent rear sight (graduated 100-1200 meters), rough cast receiver and bolt carrier with the hollow cocking knob, and stamped rear action cover. Smooth laminated stock with a single Waffenamt proof on the side and underside (no visible serial number), a late war laminated handguard, standard stamped cupped metal buttplate, cross-hatched leather sling and cleaning rod. A "ddx" code ZF4 scope is included, fitted to a rough cast (non-matching) scope mount that is numbered "2374" on the end. The scope has a set of black (leather cover and plug) lens covers and rubber eyecup. A plastic bag is stowed in the buttstock, along with paper-wrapped small parts, which is in turn wrapped with a vintage copy of the manual.

Rating Definition:

Very fine condition with 90% of the phosphate finish with general light wear and finish loss overall with thinning on the action cover and front exposed area of the faded blued barrel. The stock and handguard are both very fine with light handling marks overall with visible albeit faint proof marks. The scope and mount retain 90% of the original wartime finish overall with clear optics. The leather lens cover retaining strap has torn and separated at the front and is very thin at the rear plug.
