Description:

Manufactured in the 1930s and chambered in the rare 6.35mm (.25 ACP) caliber. These PP and PPK pistols in this caliber were produced on a very limited basis by Walther, as they were not readily accepted by the commercial market. Externally it is virtually identical to the 7.65mm model, aside from the caliber marking. The right side of the pistol has the pre-war commercial "crown/N" stamped on the slide, chamber and muzzle. The right side of the frame has the vertically stamped PP serial number which falls in the known range for pistols of this caliber. The interior of the slide shows a series of machined weight-reduction cuts. It is fitted with a 90 degree safety, checkered Walther banner grips and a correct unmarked 6.35mm sleeved magazine with black plastic base.

Rating Definition:

Excellent, retains 90% plus bright original high polish blue finish with the balance showing a smooth grey patina, mainly from holster/handling type wear. The grips are very fine with some light handling marks apart from a moderate, somewhat discreet, vertical scratch in the left panel along the edge of checkering, which is crisp overall. Mechanically excellent.
