Manufactured in 1964 with standard markings and features and subsequently masterfully engraved by John Adams Jr. of Adams & Adams Custom Engravers. The included Adams & Adams authentication letter lists the revolver by serial number, caliber, and barrel length, and states that the engraving is "C" American scroll, work which was done in July of 2016. This equates to approximately 90% coverage beautifully executed floral scroll which is signed with Adams' monogram "JA II" on the toe of the front strap. It is fitted with checkered walnut grips with Colt medallions, each hand numbered to the gun.

Very fine as masterfully embellished by John Adams Jr., retains 99% plus blue finish with only the slightest handling marks and hint of a cylinder drag line. The grips have a few light handling marks and crisp checkering over. Mechanically excellent.
