Manufactured around the 1870s-1890s. Near full coverage floral leaf engraving with accompanying punch dot scrolls, likely carried out by the retailer. The leaves have been cut through the finish creating a nice contrast. Matching serial number marked on the bottom of the barrel, front of the cylinder, inside of the grips, and left side of the grip frame.

Excellent, retaining 95% plus original nickel finish, showing most of the original case colors on the hammer, and some areas beginning to show hazing. The grips are very fine with a few scratches. Mechanically excellent.
