Manufactured 1874-1879. Near full coverage factory floral scroll engraving over a punch dot background. The left grip panel shows a carved soldier's head in profile. Matching partial serial numbers on the barrel and cylinder with the full number on the butt.

Very fine, showing 60% original gold plating with the majority concentrated on the frame and some showing on the protected areas of the barrel. Scattered light oxidation on the barrel and cylinder. The right grip has a chip at the butt, otherwise, the grips are extremely fine. Mechanically excellent.
