The barrel has the one-line Hartford address on top and "45 COLT" on the left side. The frame has the two-line patent dates marking along with a circled Rampant Colt. Matching serial numbers are on the frame, trigger guard and back strap.

Fine, retaining 70% original nickel finish with flaking on the balance exposing brown and gray patinas. The grips are good with minor scratches and nicks and wear to the checkering. Mechanically excellent.
