Measuring 15 inches overall, with an 8 7/8 inch long clip point blade, 5 1/8 inch false edge, and traces of a makers mark on the left side just above the German silver guard; part of what appears to be "SHEFFIELD" is readable on the bottom. The tang runs the full width and thickness of the hilt, with a pair of smooth antique ivory grip panels and a sculpted horse head pommel constructed from silver plated pewter. Includes a German silver fitted black leather sheath.

Very good. The blade shows patches of brown discoloration, especially near the guard, with shallow pitting, a few nicks in the blade, and light polishing marks. The hilt shows some age cracks in the grips, with one replaced corner on the right panel, and the pommel retains about 70% of the original silver, showing a few cracks and dents. The sheath is good, with an absent belt loop, tears and cracks.
