Checkered, wedge fastened forearm and heavyweight straight grip stock with blank silver initial oval, and lightly engraved steel buttplate. Rating Definition:

Fine as professionally, period refurbished with 85% restored brown finish on the barrels, some visible dings and light pitting under the finish, faint illegible rib marking, and strong visible crolle Damascus patterns. The action and locks have an overall mottled gray patina with traces of original case colors visible in the more protected areas, darker patina on the hammers and trigger guard, and some light surface oxidation and pitting. The wood is also fine with well defined, moderately worn checkering, small scattered dings, several larger dents and scratches, and dark patina on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.
