Features browned Damascus twist barrels with matte, solid rib marked "A. HEYDT AICHACH" in silver inlay with beaded blade front and flip up rear notch sights, 2 1/2 inch (65mm) marked chambers with a single extractor, and improved modified/improved modified chokes. The receiver, locks, and trigger guard all feature vine scroll engraving with sculpted fences and hammers. Wedge fastened checkered forearm with horn action lever, decorative scroll horn grip extension, and straight grip stock with fancy floral carved border accents, raised cheekpiece, and lightly engraved steel buttplate. Length of pull is 13 1/2 inches. Standard German blackpowder proofs and later "eagle/N" and "antler" reproof marks on the flats with a "252" date stamp.

Fine. The barrels have an overall mottled gray/brown patina with strong Damascus patterning, areas of spotting and oxidation, and some surface pitting. The receiver and locks have an overall gray patina with distinct engraving, some light spotting, and areas of darker oxidation. The wood is also fine with well defined checkering, small dings throughout and some small cracks at the buttplate heel. Mechanically very good.
