Casehardened action and lock plates with "crown/GP" and "crown/V" proofs, dual triggers, and automatic sliding tang safety. The action and locks have fine, tight scroll engraving with matching engraving on the trigger guard and tangs. Attractive checkered walnut splinter forearm and straight grip stock with Anson latch, engraved fittings, blank initial oval, and checkered hard rubber buttplate. Includes cloth and leather takedown case with Joseph Lang interior label and cleaning tools. Barrel and stock measurements are: bore diameter at 9 inches from breech proved at .736/.732 and measured at .737/.733; choke constriction .013/.028; minimum wall thickness .020/.024; drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 1/4 inches; length of pull 14 5/8 inches; cast off.

Very fine. The barrels have 95% plus high quality refurbished blue finish, light though legible rib markings, some scattered light dings, and faint visible pitting under the blue. The action and locks have 95% vibrant refurbished case colors, well defined engraving, and some small dings on the trigger guard. The refinished wood is also very fine with sharp re-cut checkering, scattered small dings, and hairline crack at the tail of the right lock. Mechanically excellent. Case is very good with storage and handling marks.
