The action and sideplates feature full coverage broad, leafy, scroll engraving with darkened backgrounds, standard maker's marks on the sideplates, "MAXUM" model marking on the underside, adjustable, checkered single selective trigger, and tang mounted sliding safety/selector switch. The trigger plate is inscribed "Bottega C. Giovanelli" for the Giovanelli engraving studio in Gardone, Val Trompia, Italy. Finely checkered, highly figured Schnabel tip forearm and pistol grip stock with right hand palm swell, and Caesar Guerini solid rubber recoil pad. Includes factory takedown case with four extra choke tubes and stock wrench. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 1/2 inches; drop at heel 2 1/8 inches; length of pull 14 5/8 inches.

Excellent with 98% plus bright original blue finish on the barrels a few light handling marks, and a some faint hints of pin point surface spotting. The action and sideplates have some small hints of spotting, well defined, crisp engraving, and some small dings on the trigger guard edges. The wood is excellent with the exception of a small patch of dings above the left side plate, sharp checkering, and attractive grain. Mechanically excellent. Case is very good with some exterior storage and handling marks.
