Dual white bead sights on the matte vent rib barrels with 2 3/4 inch chambers, single large extractor, "ABERCROMBIE & FITCH/MADE IN ITALY" retail marking on left side of chamber, standard Italian proofs dated 1968, and improved cylinder/modified chokes. Casehardened box lock action with added sideplates, cross bolt third fastener, single non-selective trigger, and automatic sliding tang safety. The action and plates are engraved with scroll and floral patterns, with matching engraving on the tangs and trigger guard. Checkered forearm and semi-pistol grip stock with blank initial oval, and checkered plastic buttplate.

Very good with visible cold blue touch ups at the muzzle end of the barrels and rib, 90% original blue finish on the balance of the barrels with some visible forearm wear. The action has 80% original casehardened finish with silvering on the edges, and several deep scratches on the refinished right side plate. The wood is also very good with some attractive grain, crisp checkering, small dings, and visible scrapes on the right side (corresponding to those found on the side plate). Mechanically excellent.
