Description:

Manufactured in Norway in 1945, the Model 1914 is licensed copy of the Colt Model 1911 pistol, the main difference being in the slide catch, which has an elongated and "dropped" profile, so as to be more easily reached with the thumb. Fixed sights, with the left side of the slide marked "11.25 m/m AUT. PISTOL M/1914", serial number, "crown/K" proof of the Kongsberg factory and a clearly visible "eagle/WaA84" Waffenamt stamp, and the right side marked "1945". Matching numbers are present on numerous external parts. The barrel is marked with a "7"on the left side of the chamber with the remains of a faint "WaA84" waffenamt marking. Grips are the correct double diamond checkered hard wood stained black with unmarked full blue magazine with lanyard staple.

Rating Definition:

Excellent with 98% original black phosphate finish, some scattered light edge wear, small surface scratches and dings, and mostly clear markings. The grips are very fine with mildly worn checkering, most of the original black stain remaining, and some visible bruises and dings.
