This is a standard late production luger that is dated "42" over the chamber area with the standard Mauser "byf" manufacturers code on the front toggle. It has the standard "eagle/swastika" inspection and acceptance proofs on the barrel extension and barrel. It is marked with the standard German "GESICHERT" and "GELADEN" safe and extractor markings and has the standard fixed front and rear sights. It is fitted with a set of checkered walnut grips. It comes with the military style external numbers. It has the late all blued metal finish to include the various small components and is complete with two "fxo/eagle 37" marked magazines with a black plastic base, "1942" dated Otto Koberstein black leather holster stamped with a reproduction "eagle/WaA14" proof, and an "eagle/WaA140" stamped combination tool.

Excellent with 97% plus of the original blued finish overall with high spot holster wear. The grips are also in excellent condition with nice distinct checkering with small dings visible in the checkering on both sides. Mechanically excellent. The holster is very good with "HT" hand marked on the front, some flex wear and tight stitching overall with the takedown tool compartment flap stud detached.
