Description:

This pistol is likely from Spain in the late 18th century and then converted in the 19th century. " just behind the hammer and also has sunken martial designs at the center. The barrel has a series of gold filled markings and designs. The furniture is iron and chiseled with martial motifs. The stock has raised relief carved scroll patterns.

Rating Definition:

Fine with traces of original blue finish on the barrel, mottled gray and brown patina on most of the metal surfaces, and mild pitting and oxidation. The fine stock has crisp carving, a few cracks and repairs, and attractive burl figure. Mechanically fine.
