Manufactured in 1941 and subsequently Simmons upgraded with standard markings including the typical "W" on the trigger assembly and Winchester factory oval proofs on the barrel and receiver at the breech, which are offset to the left to accommodate the matted strip on top of the receiver and the Simmons Gun Repair Inc. vented rib fitted with a single German silver bead sight. Mounted with a seventeen-groove slide handle and pistol grip stock with a checkered steel buttplate.

Very fine as Simmons upgraded/refurbished, retains 99% plus blue finish with only the slightest handling marks and the slide bar showing an attractive plum hue. The refinished wood is also very fine with a few scattered light scratches and two hairline cracks in the slide handle. Mechanically excellent.
