Manufactured in 1904. Beaded blade front and elevation adjustable sporting notch rear sights, third style two-line address and patent marking on the octagon barrel, "22 SHORT" at the breech, casehardened hammer, and three-line model, maker, and trademark nomenclature on the upper tang. With a 12 groove, round slide handle and plain, straight grip stock with casehardened steel crescent buttplate.

Very fine with 85% plus bright original blue finish, areas of high point and edge wear, surface scratches, and areas of a mixed brown/gray patina on the tangs, upper rear of the receiver and trigger guard. The wood is excellent with scattered small dings and scratches, and most of the original case colors on the buttplate. Mechanically excellent.
