Measuring 13 1/4 inches overall, with an 8 5/8 inch long "spear point" blade, double edged, spear point, with a faint makers mark (possibly J. Mureton & Co.) on one ricasso. The tang runs the full length and width of the hilt, with brass base panels supporting a set of smooth mother of pearl grips and a set of silver guard and pommel plates with raised bumpy decoration. With a silver fitted black leather sheath.

Fair. The blade shows a mixed brown/gray patina with extensive pitting and sharpening. The hilt is good, with a dark patina in the low areas and mild handling marks. The replacement sheath is good, with mild scuffs.
