This revolver was manufactured in 1910. Fixed blade front sight with notched rear sight. One line block letter barrel address while the left side of the barrel is marked "(BISLEY MODEL) 38 COLT". The frame and hammer are casehardened. Serial numbers match on frame, trigger guard, and back strap. Batch number "3694" is stamped on loading gate. Two line, three patent dates (1871, 1872, and 1875) marked on left frame followed by the encircled Rampant Colt. Wide, low hammer spur and wide trigger with characteristic "humpback" grip. Checkered brown hard rubber grips with Rampant Colt monograms.

Very fine overall. The revolver retains 70% of the original blue finish with thinning on the muzzle and ejector rod housing with some smooth brown patina. The barrel shows some scratches and dings on the underside by the cylinder pin. The cylinder retains half of the original finish mixed with smooth brown patina and numerous light scratches. The back strap is a smooth brown patina and the trigger guard has light surface rust on the front strap. The frame and hammer show 60% of the vivid original case colors mixed with a smooth brownish patina. The grips are fine with the exception of a one inch repaired chip on the left toe, otherwise showing little wear, a few scattered minor handling marks, and crisp checkering. All markings are clear. Mechanically excellent.
