Manufactured in 1933. Grips numbered to a different gun. Matching serial numbers on frame, trigger guard and back strap. The left side of the trigger guard has the number "3" and Colt factory triangle proof.

Fine. The barrel, ejector rod housing and cylinder retain 90% original blue finish and the grip straps retain 50% original blue finish with the balance a smooth brown patina. The front sight has been trimmed down slightly with cold blue visible. 70% faded original case colors remain on the hammer and frame. The replacement grips are very good with a couple notches near the bottom and a hairline crack near the top on the left panel, otherwise some minor handling marks and some wear in the checkering. Mechanically excellent.
