Description:

Measuring 11 inches overall, the knife is equipped with a 7 inch drop point blade, which bears the "*+" trademark and the 4-line Rodgers & Sons "No6 NORFOLK" address on the left side. The hilt is German silver construction, with a scalloped oval guard, round "dove head" style pommel, and checkered grip panels. With a German silver fitted brown leather sheath. A recurring marking, "P FOGG", is present on the back of the hilt, sheath throat, and the belt loop stud; no information on Fogg was provided, and any resemblance to the protagonist of Around the World in Eighty Days by Jules Verne is likely coincidental.

Rating Definition:

Very good. The blade shows a mixed brown and gray patina, with a few areas of pitting and evidence of mild sharpening. The hilt is fine, with some dents and traces of white residue in the grip checkering, and the sheath is very good with mild scuffs.
