Description:

These knives are often associated with the Old West and river boat gamblers in particular but were well-suited for use by anyone who wanted an affordable and readily concealable weapon that was fairly easy to use in self-defense. There are no visible markings on this example which has a 3 1/16 inch blade, 5 1/8 inch overall length, and a pinned bone handle. The included sheath has German silver fittings, attached belt hook, and middle section wrapped in brown leather.

Rating Definition:

Very good, the blade mostly bright with evidence of mild cleaning/sharpening and a few scattered minor dings on the handle. The sheath is fine, the German silver showing an attractive antique patina and some light wear.
