The barrel is signed "INVon GASTINNE-RENETTE A PARIS" and has light borders on the flats, fluted midsections, and blade and notch sights, and the locks are signed "GASTINNE-RENETTE" and have intricate scroll engraving as does the furniture. The trigger guard has a golden "EP" monogram, and the same monogram is on the case lid. The front portion of the trigger guard is part of a lever that slides the barrel forward to allow for reloading. The stock has multi-point checkering. The case has scroll patterns on the lid, three containers, another front sight, a cap container, "EP" marked measure, oiler, "450" marked ball mold, wrench, screwdriver, and cleaning rod.

Exceptionally fine with 85% plus original blue and 60% casehardened finish, light aging on the gold, minor handling and storage marks, crisp checkering, and distinct markings and engraving. Mechanically needs work as the hammer will not stay cocked. The case is fine with minor cracks in the refinished exterior and scattered light compression marks, and the accessories are very fine with minor storage wear.
