Features beaded blade front and two folding leaf rear sights on the matted rib, barrels marked "AUG LEBEAU/FABi A LIEGE" on the right and left respectively, standard Belgian proofs on the flats, and a single extractor. Casehardened action and lock plates with doll's head rib extension third fastener, bushed firing pins, dual triggers (front is articulated), and automatic sliding tang safety. The action and locks have full coverage fine scroll and floral bouquet engraving with matching engraved tangs and trigger guard. Checkered splinter forearm and pistol grip stock with Anson latch, engraved fittings, engraved blue steel grip cap, raised cheekpiece, and serrated hard rubber buttplate.
Very fine. The barrels have 90% bright original blue finish remaining with some scattered small surface scratches and nicks, visible edge wear at the muzzle, and some mild forearm marks. The action and locks have 80% original slightly faded case colors (more vibrant in the protected areas), some mild silvering on the edges, and well defined engraving. The refinished wood is fine with scattered small dings and bruises, attractive figure, and a small chip visible at the right side of the forearm tip. Mechanically excellent.
