Manufactured by the Marble Safety Axe Company, and subsequently converted to a short barrel over/under rifle with the installation of a .44 caliber rifled barrel in the place of the normally smooth bore .44 caliber barrel. Beaded blade front and rear notch sights, three-line Gladstone, Michigan address on the left side of the breech block, "GAME GETTER" logo on left side of frame, checkered hammer with two-position striker, checkered Marble hard rubber grips, and nickel plated folding tubular buttstock.

Fine as converted to short barrel rifle configuration with 70% original blue finish on the upper barrel, block and frame, areas of mottled brown/gray patina, and visible mild edge wear. The grips are very good with a repaired break on the right panel, and scattered small dings. Mechanically excellent. NOTE: This item is restricted as a National Firearms Act (NFA) item, that is currently registered with the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco Firearms and Explosives (BATFE) that is classified as a "Curios or Relic" as defined in 27 CFR, 478.11. These weapons are still subject to the provisions of 18 U.S.C. Chapter 44 and 27 CFR part 478.
