Sculpted, casehardened action with "CHARLES DALY" marked on the sides with fine scroll engraving and segmented line borders on the balance. Checkered beavertail forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with added cheekpiece, and Morgan adjustable recoil pad. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 9/16 inches; drop at heel 2 1/4 inches; length of pull 14 1/2 inches.

Fine with 85% original blue finish remaining on the barrel, visible bright wear from the forearm, scattered small scratches and dings, and clear markings and proofs. The action has 50% of the original case colors with the balance a dove gray patina with well defined engraving and markings, thin coat of protective varnish, and mostly bright patina on the trigger guard. The altered/refinished wood is good with well defined checkering, as mentioned added cheekpiece, scattered small dings, and added pad. Mechanically excellent.
