This highly embellished shotgun features a single white bead sight on the matte solid rib barrel with the two-line address and patent marking on the left side, hand engraved "FULL" choke marking, 2 3/4 inch chamber, and five inch wedges of fine floral and scroll engraving with punch dot backgrounds on either side of the barrel at the breech. The receiver is fully engraved with fine, flowing scroll patterns, punch dot shading, line and dot borders, and highly detailed game bird and dog panel scenes featuring woodcocks and ducks in flight on the right side, and quail, grouse and a pair of pointers on the left. The serial number is hand engraved on the front underside of the receiver and lower tang, with checker board patterns on the sides of the trigger guard and a retriever head on the face of the trigger guard. Multi-point checkered semi-beavertail forearm and round knob pistol grip stock with blank initial oval, and serrated brown mottled plastic Remington buttplate. The second barrel is 26 inches with a single nickel bead sight on the rib, hand engraved "CYL" choke marking, 2 3/4 inch chamber, and matching wedges of engraving at the breech. Also included is an unmarked mutton leg case for the complete set. Stock measurements are: drop at comb 1 5/8 inches; drop at heel 2 5/16 inches; length of pull 13 7/8 inches.

Fine with 85% refinished blue. Displaying some small scratches and minor dings under the finish on the barrel, scattered bright scratches visible, and small dings on the rib. The receiver has an overall soft, matte blue finish with well defined, highly detailed engraving, traces of light edge wear, some visible surface pitting, and some marring on the stock screws. The refinished wood is also fine with a narrow 3 inch crack visible on the underside and right rear of the forearm, some gaps visible at the wrist junction, and small dings on the buttstock. Mechanically excellent. Second barrel is also fine with 75% original blue finish, visible bright forearm wear, and some scattered nicks and dings. Case is good with scrapes and scuffs overall, generally solid construction, and age cracking on the straps.
