Manufactured in 1953 and subsequently engraved and gold inlaid by Master Engraver Angelo Bee. The included Angelo Bee certificate of authenticity dated "February 3, 1996" and signed by Angelo Bee identifies the pistol by both model and serial number. Gold plated front sight blade and standard adjustable notch rear sights, standard markings on the left side of the barrel, flourishes of finely executed leafy scroll engraving, gold inlaid Rampant Colt and "MATCH TARGET" on the left side of the barrel, gold and silver inlaid eagle approaching a bullseye on the right side, serrated gold plated trigger, and smooth thumb rest grips with matching grip adaptor on the back strap. Includes a highly figured custom hardwood case with fitted interior.

Exceptionally fine as engraved and gold inlaid by Master Engraver Angelo Bee with some scattered light handling marks and crisp engraving. The replacement grips are also very fine. Grips sometimes interfere with function, otherwise mechanically excellent. Case is excellent.
