Smooth straight grip "S" stock with finger grooves, low hump handguard with sighting channel, boxed "J.S.A." inspection cartouche, circled script "P" at the wrist, single reinforcing bolt, and sharp checkered steel trapdoor buttplate. Includes a brown leather sling, a snap-on tan canvas receiver cover and a tan canvas rifle case, faintly dated "11-18" inside the flap.

Excellent, with 90% plus of the original blue finish, showing some light wear concentrated on the floorplate and buttplate, and some mild handling marks. The magazine cut-off and safety retain 90% of the vivid original case color. The stock is also excellent, with some mild dings and scratches overall. The sling shows wear and cracking appropriate to age, and the canvas items show some stains and holes, with one of the snaps popped out on the receiver cover. Mechanically excellent.
