The included February 8, 1946 dated capture certificate identifies the pistol by both caliber and serial number. Inverted "V" blade front and fixed notch rear sights, standard commercial "crown/N" proofs on the barrel, extension, and breech block, Commercial style serial number placement with the full matching number on the front of the frame and underside of the barrel, and matching partial serial numbers on the small parts. Full rust blue finish with straw colored small parts, and nitre blue springs, pins, and screws. Checkered walnut grips. correct unmarked nickel body magazine with wood base. Includes an unmarked period custom made leather shoulder holster rig.

Excellent with 95% original rust blue finish, areas of visible high point and edge wear, some small surface nicks, and 90% of the original straw colors on the small parts. The grips are also very fine with moderately worn checkering, some small dings, and light smoothing around the edges. Mechanically excellent. Holster is fine with scuffs and small scratches, and some mild cracking on the straps.
