Manufactured in 1943 in Berlin. Hooded blade front sight and tangent rear sights, with the integral mounting rail on the rear sight base, "2422/duv" marked quick-release base and a "+/cxn" marked ZF-41 scope with sunshields. Mounted with a laminate pistol grip stock with milled fittings and a cupped steel buttplate. A belt rig in the tropical/"Afrika Korps" style is included, consisting of a sun-faded green canvas belt, olive green painted Heer "Gott Mit Uns" buckle, a tan painted metal scope can, and a blued bayonet with an olive green painted sheath and faded canvas frog.

Exceptionally fine, with 75% of the original blue finish, showing areas of brown patina, bright edge wear, mild spotting and light handling marks. The wood is very fine, with some opening of the grain on the comb, chips around the recoil bolt and edges, and mild dents. The optics are a bit hazy, with mild wear on the exterior. The accessories show mild wear and handling. Mechanically excellent.
