Description:

Measuring 33 7/8 inches overall with a 28 inch curved single fuller blade. The blade is decorated with an etched vine on the spine and a pair of 12 5/8 inch side panels featuring scroll designs, crossed weapon and stahlhelm arrangements and Party/Heer eagles. Gilt brass hilt with a Nazi eagle on the right cross guard and languet, oak leaf and acorn decoration, wire wrapped black celluloid grip and a dove's head pommel. With a green leather portapee, silver acorn and a black enamel finished scabbard.

Rating Definition:

Fine. The tip of the blade appears to have been damaged and lightly reshaped with evidence of machine sharpening at the final inch of the leading and false edges otherwise the blade only shows a minimum of handling marks and spotting with sharp etching. A mixed aged patina is showing on the hilt with a few light scuffs on the grip. The portapee is heavily worn with the leather broken in a few places and the sheath shows flaking and areas of brown patina.
